The Department of Economics does not offer an MA.
No. The Department of Economics only admits for the Fall.
The Department of Economics receives approximately 800 applications for each admisssions cycle.
We recommend that you take the GRE in October to insure scores are received in a timely fashion by the department and that your application is complete by the December 14 deadline for receipt of supporting documents. As soon as you receive your GRE scores you should fax or mail them to the Department. Often ETS takes a long time to send official scores to the Department and it is quicker if the applicant sends a copy themselves as soon as they are received.
Only those applicants whose applications are incomplete will be notified via email. Please do not contact us to inquire about the status of your application or to confirm receipt of items sent. Given the number of applications we process it is not possible to respond to such inquiries.
Scores from GRE tests taken before June 2006 are no longer valid.
